Yoga is a great way to improve your body, get more flexible and generally become a healthy person. But there's much more to it than just the physical benefits. Here are five things that yoga made me better at.

1. Asserting Myself

Yoga gave me confidence and peace of mind. It helped me feel comfortable in my own skin. I learned how to value myself and know what I am worth. Yoga taught me to love myself, flaws and all.

2. Compassion

I’m not sure I’m less judgmental but at least I am aware of it. I see the bigger picture now. I explore my feelings around my judgments in order to be less judgmental of others.

3. Being Happy

I am the happiest I have even been in my whole life and I attribute it to my yoga practice! Yoga has taught me how to be grateful in the moment. Yoga has taught me how to count my blessings and take something positive from a bad situation. Yoga teaches me to stay with my breath.

4. Yoga Has Taught Me

to be calm and stay strong. There is a time and space for everything. Live in the moment.

5. Sex

All that mulabandha gets the blood flowing and strengthen the perineum. Yoga makes me more comfortable with myself and allows to me love myself fully so I can joyfully share myself with the one I LOVE!
