Twisting in yoga begins from deep within the pelvis, activating the inner body, compressing the internal organs, and facilitating the purification of the body from inside out. Suitable for intermediate to advanced yoga practitioners, this sequence uses breath, alignment, core and Mula Bandha work, and pelvic engagement through Sun Salutations, Revolved Extended Side Angle Pose, Marichyasana C, and Pashasana, to create space within for full body twisting and for generating warmth.
