Yoga Is For Everybody? Not Quite...

This 2-minute quiz shows you if yoga is for you. Or what you should do instead.

Indian Yogi Holds Guinness World Record for Motorcycle Yoga

Happiness | Lifestyle

Yoga can be done pretty much anywhere. At  home or at work, in the woods or on the beach, as long as you have stable ground and enough space to stretch out, you’re good to go.

But Hav Ramesh of India took #yogaanywhere to the next level by setting the Guinness World Record for the most consecutive positions on a motorcycle in 2013. Just to be perfectly clear, the motorcycle was actually moving and not just parked.

The well-balanced (pun fully intended) Ramesh performed a total of 50 poses, all while covering approximately 5 kilometers of distance on the motorcycle. Talk about multitasking!

Ramesh’s 50 poses were more than twice the number of those performed by the previous record-holder, Yogaraj C.P., a Hong Kong-based yoga teacher, who performed 23 yoga poses.

Yogaraj C.P., who has been practicing yoga since he was just five years old, also once set the Guinness World Record for the longest yoga asana marathon done by a male — a whopping 40 hours.

We won’t be trying out ‘motorcycle yoga’ anytime soon (or ever), but we have practiced asana in pretty “unusual” places. Where’s the weirdest place you’ve practiced yoga? Tell us in the comments!
