There's plenty of literature and awareness campaigns on how excessive/prolonged sun exposure can really harm the skin, but despite all this, a lot of people still take skin care and sun protection very lightly.
"I don't really need it," "it's not like I'm gonna spend HOURS under the sun," etc. etc. So here's a video to show us all what sunscreen can REALLY do to your skin.
The video, created by Thomas Leveritt, asked people on the street to participate and showed them how they looked under ultraviolet or UV light, and they were all shocked to see the damage the sun has done to their skin without their knowledge. By contrast, it also shows what happens to your skin when you do wear sunscreen.
It's a pretty interesting perspective, so have a peek and let us know what you think!
