Yoga is, and has never been, about aesthetics or how one looks when performing different asanas. However, this doesn’t mean that we can’t or don’t appreciate beautiful yoga art! This visually arresting project by photographer Björn Ewers (via Cosmopola), typedesigner Kay Haubler, and yogi Lena Fishman is a perfect example of this.
The project, entitled Yoga Makes Better Lovers, shows Lena performing some of the more advanced yoga poses set against bright and funky neon typography, and the result is just pure awesome! Here are some of the photos in the series.
